Skills and qualifications:
·        BS Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
·        Minimum of five years experience with the OSIsoft product suite including, PI, PI AF (Asset Framework), PI Notifications, Performance Equations, and ACE (Advanced Calculation Engine).
·        Familiar with all aspects of an OSIsoft PI installation including architecture, design, configuration, data import, and administration.
·        Experienced in developing OSIsoft PI client-side applications using DataLink, ProcessBook, ActiveView, and other components.
·        Experienced in developing client and server-side applications in the .NET environment using PI SDK, PI AF SDK, and other OSIsoft developer tools.
·        Minimum of five (5) years of C#.Net development experience.
·        Minimum of two (2) years experience in developing web applications.
·        Minimum of two (2) years experience in using relational Oracle and SQL server databases.
·        Experience in developing data services is preferred.
·        Experience with Esri’s ArcGIS Server and Arc Objects desired.
·        Understanding of hydrology and hydrography principles, and environmental and operational systems preferred.
·        Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing, to a wide variety of staff.
·        Ability to lead activities independently and as part of a team.

A.                SCOPE OF WORK
 
Services to be provided by include the following:
·        Architecture and design of OSIsoft PI product suite components.
·        Development of OSIsoft PI product suite components.
·        Configuration, testing, and deployment of OSIsoft PI product suite components.
·        Interact directly with project team members and subject matter experts.

Job Responsibilities -
·         Hands-on execution of projects (as a team member) related to real-time data systems
·         Perform typical activities such as Configuration, tuning, application development, systems integration and testing.
·         Perform code reviews of the deliverables
·         Provides appropriate input to the manager for planning & scheduling
·         Adhere to the project plan & schedule

Experience/Skills       :

·         Good experience working with OSI PI product customization and support

Skills and Educational Requirements:

• Knowledge of PI or Historian systems
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years experience in the support and administration of PI or historian systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze PI system and interface problems
• Ability to compile, analyze and interpret data, and to prepare reports and correspondence
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of mining related processes a definite asset
• Proficient communicator with strong collaborative design skills.
