I'm a new user in OSI Soft World.
I have a problem in PE configuration. In my system PE tags are calculated perfecty if PINODE and PISERVER are attive. If i disconnect PInode from network , data are buffered. when a reconnect the PINODE in nthe network the data are sent to pISERVER. All tags are updated except the PE tags. I configure this PE tags with shutdown attribute =0 but doesn't work. somone can help me?

PE(Performance Equation)
Wed, 12/29/2010 - 14:53 — vcreatesPE(Performance Equation) tags works with updating current(snapshot) values and archive values. They execute in real time either triggered by an event or scheduled based.
Case1: In case of execution using triggering event, PI should get real time event.
Case2: In case of scheduled PE tags, it do the calcualtion over the archive or snapshot data at scheduled time.
Case1 PE tags won't execute if real time data/events doesn't come to PI.
Case2 PE tags will get executed but would take up last archive values for calcualtions.
PE works over PE subsytem(running under services) which has syntax and built-in lib function. We use these set of function for developing Eqautions.
PI recalcualtor can be used to recalcualte the PE tags.

Fri, 03/12/2010 - 19:12 — neuhach1PE (Performance Equation) tags are calculated on the PI server. I think the PE scheduler cannot handle buffered tag values. Maybe you can use the PI Recalculator to recalculate the PE tags. However, you should configure Shutdown=1 to insert the Shutdown marker when the PI server is not running.
